
CAREER FAIR AT DPS MEERUT

DPS Meerut hosted an exclusive Career fair & University program for school students to meet top University Representatives for higher studies for the students of Classes XI and XII on August 13, 2024 in school auditorium.
Fairs are a great opportunity for the students to interact with educators from prestigious institutions and discuss their Higher Education Pathways. We strongly believe that right guidance at the right time helps in giving the right direction to the career and allow students to pursue their college dreams.
The event commenced with the inaugural lighting of the holy lamp by the Vice Principal Ma’am Dr . Varsha Bhardwaj and the counsellors from prestigious universities.
All the representatives thanked the host school and introduced themselves elaborating their achievements and credentials.
During the interaction, the university representative responded about their programs like artificial intelligence, business administration, architecture, biotechnology, microbiology, fashion designing, culinary, post visa services ; admission policies, scholarships, funding opportunities for international students and life on campus.
The Vice Principal in her formal address advised the students to take even the smallest of decisions carefully; and they can have amazing results.
The Pro vice chairperson Ms. Shashi Singh Ma'am appreciated the wonderful participation of the universities and Director ,Dr. Suveta Singh Ma'am conveyed her best wishes to all the students ; and wished them best for their future endeavours.
The fair culminated giving an insight to the students on the inside world to explore after their schooling.

STORY TELLING SESSION
October 15, 2024
To foster environmental awareness, creativity, and self-expression a Storytelling-Session was conducted at Delhi Public School, Meerut by the resource person Mr. Kanav Agnihotri, a renowned author of children’s graphic novels on the theme of environmental sustainability.
Dr. Varsha Bhardwaj, Vice Principal and Ms. Ayesha Rizvi, Head Mistress, extended a warm welcome as they introduced Mr. Kanav Agnihotri, followed by the captivating story telling session for children with an animated presentation of “The Adventure of Super Sharkaru, The Shark That Flies,”. Through this tale, students were inspired to protect marine life from the dangers of toxic waste polluting our oceans.
At the session’s conclusion, Mr. Agnihotri led an engaging activity, delivering a powerful message on the importance of preserving marine life and striving for a plastic-free planet.
The storytelling session was a resounding success, achieving its objectives and inspiring future initiatives to further promote creativity and self-expression in our students. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Ayesha Rizvi.
